If you already have it at home, i would just test it first and order later.
To be sure that it works. Just use the boot from usb option in bios and run it from there.

I ordered the 64gb rom version. 4GB ram should be enough.

To be sure you can disconnect the hdd so it can’t be wiped during testing.
Sounds strange 64gb rom, it should be a micro sd of 64gb i guess.
I hope tested it all before you bought anything.

If you do not have the device you can not test it. Other versions in this range have a SSD drive. Other brand with same looks says it is a 64Gb eMMC.
Do you think it is better to buy a ssd with it?

I think that ssd should be faster than any eMMC

For volumio it doesn’t matter. most of the system runs from memory, with eMMC or SSD it boots faster. that’s about it.
If you plan to use the HW for other purposes, then go for a SSD as this is faster (most of the times) in overal performance.

I do not get it boot from SSD when installed volumio on it. Bios I set to legacy. Volumio sees ssd but can not figure out the boot priority.

did you install it to the SSD? There is an option in System to do so.

Give us the specs of the pc then we can see :slight_smile:
First boot is the harddisk ,then your nvme after that your usb stick
On boot you could press f8 and select your usbstick

But nvme should be 1? Now it goes strait to windows on the rom drive

I already flashed the SSD But it does not boot.

To avoid a lot back and forward talking. Just take out the SSD, connect it to your PC and flash the Volumio image to it. Put ik back and boot the system.
