Hi @naimnatnod, are you able to use a text editor in Linux? I use vim, but nano is also a good editor. You can use the editor of your choice to modify the two files indicated (/etc/pam.d/sudo and /data/plugins/…/run_peppymeter.sh) to make the changes I indicated in the previous post.
I did use Text Editor on my Mac to modify those 2 files but I still have to do the manual commands.

Strange, are you sure that the files you edited are saved in the TBS? Try to type these commands via shell on the TBS and post their output.
sudo cat /etc/pam.d/sudo
sudo cat /data/plugins/miscellanea/peppy_screensaver/peppymeter/run_peppymeter.sh
Hi pdo59, got it to work now. 
The problem was the sudo file never got changed due to the permission issue. So I changed it with command sudo nano on the terminal.
Thank you so much. When I have time, I will make a video clip on how to install PeppyMeter plugin and make it to work on TBS.

Hi everyone, I have an important question regarding this. I’m not entirely clear on whether a solution has been found or not. I have the chance to buy a Primo v1 with a lifetime license right now. Has the issue with running the Peppymeter plugin finally been resolved? Does it work properly and run smoothly? If so, what resolutions are supported? Also, if a firmware update for the Primo is released, is it enough to simply disable the Peppymeter plugin and re-enable it after the update? Please help—I’m not a technical expert, but I really love the Peppymeter plugin. The current opportunity to buy the Primo v1 with a lifetime license is important to me because it supports Tidal Connect. And one more important question: If the Primo is running the Peppymeter plugin, is there enough processing power left to also run DSP functions, such as a 10-band PEQ? Please help me out with this; I don’t dare buy it until I know… Thanks, regards, Zoli (Hungary).

Hi,
I have a Volumio Primo v1 but currently just to play music in a second system.
I made my main system on Rapsberry Pi with Volumio 4 and with an external USB DAC.
Currently Peppymeter Screensaver only works on Volumio 4 (does not run on Primo V1).
I believe Peppymeter Basic and Peppyspectrum work on volumio 3 / Primo v1 but I’m not 100% sure.

Do you remember if peppymeter basic and peppyspectrum plug-ins run on v3? I don’t remember if they run…
Peppymeter basic, peppyspectrum and Peppymeter/spectrum runs on V3.
However I doubt if the V1 is powerfull enough. Pyhton is pretty demanding and these older plugins haven’t been optimized to be gentle with resources.
