Currently the GPIO buttons and push button in Rotary encoder ain’t working. These plugins needs to be rewritten in order to support the change Raspberry made in Kernel 6.6 to the GPIO.

display_auto_detect=1
to
display_auto_detect=0
Test after reboot if it makes a difference.

Let’s take a look at this. Full HD 1920x1080 (16x9 ratio) should not need any special parameters, as this is a standard CVT class 4.15.
Changes in the 3.759 are mainly for DRM/KMS DSI/SPI attached displays autodetection, HDMI has not been changed. There are two parameters modified in the volumioconfig.txt though.
Please execute two tests:
Test 1 (full autodetect):
Revert to display_auto_detect=1 in volumioconfig.txt and comment out all screen handling parameters in userconfig.txt.
Test 2 (manual settings):
Comment out lines dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d and display_auto_detect=1 in [all] subsection in the volumioconfig.txt and revert changes back in your userconfig.txt

update to 3.759 touchscreen does not turn on.

Comment out line dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d in [all] subsection in the volumioconfig.txt

3.759 - 3.761 (OTA) - everything works
@nerd I updated to v3.761, no success, 7.9 inch screen does not turn on.
in the meantime also updated the touch plugin to beta 3.5.1, also no success.
3.761 is available via OTA? Is it beta release ?
