But still MyVolumio is not active after the restart following the OTA Process. I had to restart MyVolumio to get it running.

In our internal tests as well as Q&A team, all passes. This leads me to a conclusion:
- MicroSD defect. I am not implying that this is the problem however MicroSD are equally prone to “silicone lottery” as well as “wear’n’tear”.
- There is a subset of custom changes, configurations, equipment mixture which may be causing such behaviour.
- Re #1: This can be easily tested with a separate MicroSD.
- Re #2: Is it possible to list configuration changes, modifications “by hand”, plugins?

on the same system, same modifications, plugins update via USB stick, all okay except rebooting, but we already knew that.
I will use a new SD card tonight and first try to update without all modifications, plugins, etc., then with all modifications, plugins (one by one) to rule out which plugin or modification the problem occurs with, if that is the cause.
I will keep you informed.

Sorry to be boring returning to old problem … BBC Radio 3 … beautifully clear Icon BUT still plays BBC Radio 4 !!!
Other BBC links seem okay as far as I can tell

@nerd Bought a new 32 GB SD card, flashed v3.694, installed no modifications or plugins at all.
zip file for the time unpacked and used raspberry pi imager and formatted sd card also with imager.
edit: No need anymore…a new SD card broke after flashing 3 times 
When I try to install plugins I also get this weird problem with interface connection.
If l make modification and see this on the screen as soon as l try to install FusionDSP, fot example.
update not possible, after clean install.
This is very unfortunate development. What is the exact brand and type? Logged NCard 29.1 GiB suggests Lexar which as manufacturer is quite solid.

The source stream database seems to have issues for quite some time. We are looking for an alternative source, however this will take some time.

I’m using the web interface.
My experience is: After the OTA the device starts up the new version. After the restart, MyVolumio functionality is not working. When I look at the main menu, it looks like MyVolumio is connected and active.
But Tidal Connect is not working.
Tidal Playback is not even visible.
Then I switch “off” and “on” My Volumio in the referring menu.
After that everything is fine. Tidal Connect finds my device, Tidal is visible and working in the sources menu.
Do you need enything else?

The update worked without any problems for me, including MyVolumio - everything was great.
Qubuz works without any problems immediately after the restart.
I haven’t noticed any problems so far - everything was great.

We have four moving parts: Init, OS, backend and MyVolumio. I am trying to pinpoint the probable area.

well, I think 14 days ago at 3.676 the MyVolumio thing did work directly after the OTA.
3.695 - Factory reset and first start wizard at the local UI (HDMI display attached):
=> Tidal login fails here reproducibly.

Tidal login via the QR code and smartphone works correctly.
Couldn’t we remove the first Tidal login (username/password) in the Wizard? two steps after the (not working) tidal login on the volumio screen I have the (working) Tidal login via the QR code, anyway.
Sorry, that was my fault - the first login screen of the startup wizard is not for the Tidal login but for the MyVolumio login (and that works fine). It might be helpful to add a “MyVolumio login” text there.
