Tag configuration for compilation albums

I have a number of compilation discs with metadata showing they’re the same album, but they always get sorted as individual albums. So for example, I’ll see:

Album Name Artist 1
Album Name Artist 2
Album Name Artist 3
…

I’ve tried playing with tags for compilation metadata labels and even went so far as to just put album in that field but I can’t find the magic phrase to get the interface to show them sorted together. Anyone else managed to get this to work?

With album art you mean album covers?
Just place a cover image named as Cover.jpg in the album folder and reset the Album cache.

Thanks. I actually meant Artist Art (the previous user referred to it as “generic album art” to change the standard image of Various Artists.
Is it as simple as placing an image in the Artist folder?

How does one change or add artist artwork?

if you add your personal Artist images to: /data/albumart/personal/artist/<artist-name>/Artists.jpg it’s for sure working, so I am not inline with the remark it doesn’t work. If you add files to this folder you need to: [image] That it’s not easy i can agree upon. I’ve mentioned this to the dev’s a week ago and they are looking into it. No ETA yet.

No missing artists or covers.
