Tag configuration for compilation albums

I have a number of compilation discs with metadata showing they’re the same album, but they always get sorted as individual albums. So for example, I’ll see: Album Name Artist 1 Album Name Artist 2 Album Name Artist 3 … I’ve tried playing with tags for compilation metadata labels and even went so far as to just put album in that field but I can’t find the magic phrase to get the interface to show them sorted together. Anyone else managed to get this to work?
