QOBUZ Connect integration on VOLUMIO streamers

Do you have FusionDSP installed, if yes disable it and test again.

I tested 3.812 just on my rPI3B (testmode). I had to disable dsp plugin, that still working. I enabled dsp plugin again, qobuz connect still works. So looks that it is fixed. So far I find no other issues.

yesterday it worked today it does not. Strange. I did not change anything.

I am experiencing the same problem on my Raspberry Pi 4b with a Pi2 Design PI2AES 2.0 shield. Pressing “Pause” jumps to the next track and Qobuz displays an error message that says “An error occurred while playing the current track”. I have the shield installed as recommended (I2S DAC and HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro). Works fine with Tidal Connect.

A new update Is out with plenty of fixes based on your feedbacks. Let us know if it works out for you.

In case it does not please provide a log link and we’ll focus on fixing the remaining issues. We noticed that the behavior of QC is greatly impacted by the audio device used, so to address all possible configurations optimally your help is very important.

Thanks and enjoy!

works fine had only one time to disable and enabling QC after playing a radiostation.

Good Morning. I was excited to see that there was an update for my Volumio streamer this morning. I updated right away hoping the update would help with my QC issue, but unfortunately the issue remains.
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4b with Pi 2 Design’s PI2AES 2.0 shield.
Problem: Connection to Volumio works fine.
Begin playing works fine.
Try to pause play, I get error message from Qobuz that says “An error occured while playing the current track” and instead of pausing the music, it jumps to the next track in the play list.

I know you are working diligently to correct these issues and I appreciate it very much.
I look forward to the next update.

New version installed on Rivo +. Install went ok except it appeared to hang on restarting showing a green light but was functioning normally. Used the restart button on the app and it went through to blue light as normally. Also this time the scan of my usb drive happened automatically. (the last update resulted in having to force a re-scan in order to populate my library. Other than that I haven’t found anything different.

I installed dsp and it worked. I did a reboot to be sure. Then QC does not work. I did disabled it and enabling it again and than it works normally. To be certain that it is no bug here you have the log file: http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/LDWzwGU.html . Volumio3.812 on rPI3B

Please provide a log as @volumio requested

Sorry Wheaten. Newbie mistake. I have sent the log file as described in the instructions in the link you sent me. Let me know if I need to do anything else.

You need to copy the link here. Otherwise we can’t locate it

Yes, worked for me too, but the Factory Reset is hardly a satisfactory solution. I now have to go through and reconfigure all my settings.

And whilst doing so, stumble across new problems, like…

(1) My network drive library (SMB) fails to connect: "Error when adding network drive (22). Invalid argument. Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (eg man mount_cifs).
BUT it seems I need to change the factory default Options from “vers=2.1” to “vers=2.0”.

(2) When playing via QC, and I pause a track in Qobuz OR in Volumio, it throws an error (“error playing current track”) and begins playing the next track. The only way I can stop it is to shut down Volumio, or shut Qubuz, then play something ELSE from within Volumio.

And when will you release the Primo version V.1/Tinkerboard? I find it a bit unfair that you’re leaving those who were with you first for last.

A new version should be available this weekend!
Primo v1 is included in it with Qobuz Connect !

And just like that Volumio v3.812 fixed everything for Qobuz Connect to the RiVO. It is now flawless. Connects immediately, plays immediately, no stuttering at all like you might get with Airplay. Bit rates are accurate. Image on screen immediate. Also, you can jump around from song to song, and even song from Qobuz connect to song from Volumio software and no issues all.

Also, I didn’t have to turn off DSP, clear the que or anything. Just played and it is working.

Great Job by the Volumio team staying on top of this.

Hello everyone,

Just a quick clarification: the software release for Primo V1 / Tinkerboard is currently on temporary hold. We’ve identified some issues that affect stable Qobuz Connect playback.

Our team is actively working on a fix, and we’re doing our best to resolve it as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience and understanding
Stay tuned for updates!

Don’t worry. We will release primo V1 as well. We are finding a strange issue with it, and we did not feel like holding back all the other platforms for it. But we will not let you down, you’re going to enjoy it, just a little patience;)

Hello ,
I have qobuz connect since has been released .
I have the impression that the sound quality is much better then listened direct from Volumio… this is just me or it is an explienarion behind ? Qobuz connect should improve the signa chain ?
Thanks

My virtuoso account does not work with Qobuz connect but does with Tidal Connect, why?

I asked about it in an earlier post. Volumio chose not to enable Qobuz Connect for Virtuoso accounts. I’m disappointed and hope that they reconsider.
