Hi @ruxt

Keep everything in this topic in regards to Peppy_meter.
In the userconfig.txt is empty i have: # Add your custom config.txt options to this file, which will be preserved during updates
The screen is: https://www.waveshare.com/11.9inch-hdmi-lcd.htm
I used the files in your summary post, while I installed the plugin from github.
In my config.txt
my config.txt
initramfs volumio.initrd
gpu_mem=32
max_usb_current=1
dtparam=audio=on
audio_pwm_mode=2
dtparam=i2c_arm=on
disable_splash=1
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
force_eeprom_read=0
include userconfig.txt
max_framebuffer_height=1480
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=320 0 80 16 32 1480 0 16 4 12 0 0 0 60 0 42000000 3
display_rotate=3 #1: 90; 2: 180; 3: 270
dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio
I think this one is going wrong, when placed in landscape. I expect the line must be set to max_framebuffer_width
Try putting this in the userconfig.txt file:
max_framebuffer_height=1480
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=320 0 80 16 32 1480 0 16 4 12 0 0 0 60 0 42000000 3
display_rotate=3
Delete from the config.txt file, leave only:
include userconfig.txt
not work. new file
userconfig.txt
max_framebuffer_height=1480
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=320 0 80 16 32 1480 0 16 4 12 0 0 0 60 0 42000000 3
display_rotate=3
config.txt
initramfs volumio.initrd
#GPU_MEM=32
max_usb_current=1
dtparam=audio=on
audio_pwm_mode=2
dtparam=i2c_arm=on
disable_splash=1
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
force_eeprom_read=0
include userconfig.txt
dtoverlay=allo-boss-dac-pcm512x-audio
gpu_mem=128
Read, read, read!!! This is not where you upload files!!!
/data/plugins/miscellanea/peppy_screensaver/peppymeter/
you’re sharp!!!
I have install the peppy meter plugin. The issue I am facing is there is no display when the peppy meter suppose to come on the screen. I have choose all available resolution on the option but still totally no display. Not sure what might be the issue
Well one issue I see, no information is given to even find a way to support you.
For starters:
And what was it for?
If above won’t fix it, park the S90 around an oak!
Hello, I would like to have a suitable skin for my 2560 x 720 display. Would it work with this resolution?
I thank you for the support.
preferably this one
Max 1920x1080
Otherwise: set Peppymeter to 1280x800 and show what is on the screen (photo).
Or you can create your own template.
The first 2 are very easy to resize then you only need to adapt the meters.txt file.
Instructions can be found here:
It’s a shame, unfortunately I’m not the programmer who can do that
You don’t need to be a programmer to do this, all that’s needed is the capability to type integers and look at your screen.
all instructions have been documented and should be very easy to follow/understand.
Since you’re the only one with this format, assistance will be troublesome.
There is always someone who is first.
This display is the perfect size for a 43 inch device, that’s why
I’ll say it again, take a photo when you run Peppymeter with a different resolution. We’ll do something.
