Upgrade is pretty intrusive. Till that time there is PeppyMeterBasic that works flawless on BW.
It will however not add an overlay for Albumart and/or played track.

- I tried following the approach of extracting files in
/data/INTERNAL/peppy_screensaver/templates, but the 1920x1200 resolution does not appear in the peppymeter section. - I attempted modifying the 480x320 resolution file, but the display appears incorrectly sized/fitted on the screen.
- I probably went wrong somewhere in the process.
Device: Volumio X86, version 3.816

unpack, copy the entire file named: 1920x1200_Gelo5 00-99… (do not rename to 1920x1200).

There are no skins for this resolution (1020x600). The closest one is 1024x600

@Gelo5 sorry it was a typing error, my display 7 inch 1024x600 resolution, i installed plugin as per the instruction , but in the settings there is no option to select (custom 1024x600)
