Of course it will work, but there are no skins for this resolution (maybe 1 or 2). Consider 1920x1080, 800x480, 1024x600 - if you prefer big. If you like wide: 1920x515, 1480x320, 1280x400
Hi Gelo,
I’m working on the wrong folder I guess.
I did not installed yours but just disabled plugin then copy your skins folders (very nice) renaming existing ones
That did not work, after restarting - enabling again, the old ones still there.
I think the path where to store is different than the one I’m in…
Thanks for your help!
Read, read, read!!!
read carefully where to copy.
Definitely NOT: /home/volumio/peppy_screensaver
What for?
3 posts were merged into an existing topic: [PLUGIN] Radio Paradise
Thanks a lot for support,
sorry for late reply
I have alignment issue also with your skins, but as you told me the right folder where to work, I think I can adjust values to fix, also i want to merge some of your skins with some peppymeter stock, editing meters.txt file and copying needed files/folder in the right path.
Sorry, but I don’t understand…
Mam również problem z wyrównaniem Twoich skórek
Je bent een grappig
That’s not a nice thing to say. You need to add a “pig” behind “grap”. Without the “pig” it’s a bit insulting.
Je bent een grap => “you are a joke”
Je bent grappig => “you are a funny one”
Unless the insult was meant as one
Oh, sorry. So I’m writing in my language. Dutch is hard, Polish is easy…
Google translator is… grap
Dutch is not difficult even 2-3 year old kids speak it.
But the only word I got from the Polish string was “problem” (which seems not that much Polish)
Write what you want to do?
Skins don’t fit your resolution?
no, resolution and graphics are wonderful,
No overlapping isssue with your skins with “spotify” and sample rate, but missing last character (t) in Mcintosh
and maybe spotify and sample rate should be on the same line:
I think I can edit “meters.txt” to adjust position
Thanks
I think Spotify shows it like that. Check for example FLAC, MP3, wav. Also, the Spotify logo is not what it should be.
in Macintosh skin reduce font size by 1 point
font.size.bold = 18—} to 17
thank you so much! Will do and update!
Hello, can you also use animated gifs as background and integrate VU meters
This not possible within Peppy_Meter
That’s right, this is impossible as the Pygame library used in the plugin doesn’t support animated GIFs directly. But that’s doable by animating a regular PNG image like a needle/hand in a VU Meter. If @2aCD will decide to implement this I can provide a sample code which does exactly the same animation as in the video above.
CPU consumption of such animation can be pretty high depending on the size of the image. Also more likely eventually you will ask to reduce a tape on the left reel and increase on the right one during a playback, which will need additional tape animation which in turn will increase CPU consumption as well.
Thanks for the answers. I had already thought something like that but found the animation as a skin quite interesting
@balbuze , also take a look at this for your Peppymeter basic
