here too, but not if Spotify and FusionDSP are enabled.
Mine are ok.
EDIT: tryed it again and it was strange after all (not earlier today).
WORKAROUND: Rebooted Volumio and fina again!
After awhile (few minutes) it began the strange behavior again (like if max level of neddle is very low).
I got the feeling (I was experimenting several skins) that it’s related with some specific skins or after changing several skins. After that becames strange.
I’m now in a specific skin and will play for awhile to see it it stays ok.
Is it on all sources ??
The issue? Just tried on internal library.
Since I’m not changing skins, it’s working fine for around 20 mins. Works in internal library and Spotify.
it runs under qobuz
3.601 pi4
I play from server, spotify, tidal and runs without this problem
when fusiondsp is active, the peppy screen is not displayed
I don’t use FusionDSP. Few years takes me to configure my sound system and now I listen only source sounds. What I get that I heard
1.3.9 is good version. 1.3 runs from time to time. If started I afraid change anything.
On new version I can turn off, turn on, change what I want for test and still works.
I prefer Tidal but last few hours tested with Spotify and works without strange behaviour.
Thank you Master @Gelo5 for help and all advicess:
I’ve both up and running.
Peppymeter 1.3.9 beta
I instaled FusionDSP and tried with Spotify 4.0.4 plugin - meter not moved
I reinstalled Spotify to 4.0.3 plugin and meter moved… like Jagger -the same like here :
Project with PeppyMeter Screensaver Plugin for VOLUMIO v2.9xx and 3.0xx buster - #2365 by Gelo5
Turn off Fusion, reboot Volumio PM works fine.
Hi,
I’ve noticed that the needle moves slight ahead of music. Example: if music is in a low passage and there cames a single strong soud, the needle moves before sound (around 100-200ms before).
Is there a way in Peppymeter configuration to implement a kind of “needle delay”?
I’m using FusionDSP and Peppymeter.
I don´t know how the system work but is like the Peppymeter is getting the sound info in the beggining of the sound pipe. FusionDSP might introduce an overall/group sound latency/delay (which is normal in soud processing systems). If that is the case would it be possible to Peppymeter to get the sound info at “the end” of FusionDSP processing?
Probably your wire harnes for audio in volumio is to slow and sound is later than vision.
Link expires - February 4, 2024
in version 1.3.9, skins are loaded to:
/data/plugins/user_intetface/peppy_screensaver/peppymeter…
Hi everyone, does anyone have experience with Volumio Rivo? I installed and activated the plug-in regularly but the screen saver doesn’t activate, any suggestions?
@Gelo5,my friend, similar 54 Skins for 1480x320 still nothing?
Hi @Gelo5 , could you put a new link for the 99 Skins 1920x1080 (this one has expired)?
Thank you
They will be next in line. I’m not a robot🤪
UP
Okay I got Spotify (Peppey Meter) working in a very strange way.
I installed the LMS server plugin on another Raspberry Pi with Volumio and installed the Spotify LMS plugin there and the squeezelte MC plugin on the Raspberry Pi with Peppy Meter.
and now it works, FusionDSP enabled and the VU meters do not stop after 10 seconds, it continues to play happily.
