I have about the same problem. first, i went over here to the GPIO configurations
Ihave a JustBoom IR Remote and set the IR Remote configuration to the JustBoom IR Remote and scrolled on down to GPIO configuration and set the GPIO to 24.
and connected the Jumper wires to 3.3v/ GPIO24/ Ground.
I connected the other end of the wires to to the IR sensor Modular
- Ground/ middle VCC or power/ s Single out.
So i have the wires to their right pin
ground to ground
VCC to 3.3v
S to gpio24.
I reboot the player SmartiPi Touch 2
and took the JustBoom remote to my hand and started pressing buttons, nothing happen.
Do i need to use the terminal window to enable the GPIO24
