PeppySpectrum - The plugin!

Something I don’t understand… Peppyspectrum is already a plugin available in the store with no need for manual installation…
What do you mean?
I’m going to investigate for the uninstall issue.

Yes, I installed Volumio software on a PC and I use it with it

I tested again and PeppySpectrum kicks in after 4 minutes on 80S80S Radio

I did the install as a plugin, didn’t work for me. Did an uninstall but it errored out. Now my autostart does not work. So I have to rebuild and flash a new volumio. Unless there is another way that i can remove it.

I think I found the issue. By waiting, in order to remove the plugin you can use

sudo rm -Rf /data/plugins/user_interface/peppyspectrum

And reboot.

PeppySpectrum v0.0.35 stable

fix non working spectrum for RPI
fix uninstall for RPI and x86

If previous version v0.0.34 can’t uninstall :

sudo rm -Rf /data/plugins/user_interface/peppyspectrum

reboot and install last stable

Now my peppy spectrum is working properly after reset and reinstall all the plugins .

Hello, I installed the plugin without problems and everything works correctly until I use Tidal Connect or Spotify Connect. In both cases, the song starts, the plugin appears on the screen but the moving bars are not seen and there is no sound.
After that you have to restart volumio so that it responds again.
Tested on an X86 machine.
I have the same problem with peppymeter on a Raspberry Pi3b.
The problem appears with Connect.
I have tried turning off multiroom, bit perfect, volume control none…
The problem persists.

EDIT: t is a Tidal connect problem on android. With iPhone it works perfectly.

EDIT2: I rectify, if in the middle of playing a song you pause and press play again, the playback breaks down and to solve it you have to skip that song.

What is your fav? Can you send a link for the log when it happens?
I never tested with Tidal connect.
But it works with Spotify contnect me…

edit : it works for me with TIDAL connect too

Hi,
Been trying to use Peppy Spectum plugin V0.0.35.
The log shows error in certain Python files.
I am using latest Volumio Version on an x86 box
Log file uploaded to http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/8EdfWS2.html
Help will be much appreciated.

Running PeppySpectrum V.035 on Volumio V3.812.
For some reason peppy starts to blink, not sure how to phrase it.

I see the same with PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum.

@balbuze it seems that we have a conundrum here - if we disable multiroom source then QOBUZ connect is not working properly (well known start / pause issue) and if we enable multiroom source then peppy spectrum does not work at all…

Any advice, anyone?

Thx for a great product(s)! Been using Volumio for many years now and purchased myvolumio premium and CORRD subscriptions…
