I see you use the old spotify connect! Should not work… But this is not the problem. Something is missing in installation, see

So remove the plugin, reboot, install the plugin, try to play and send log please.
ok, now i try.
But i was trying to use old spotify connect because using new spotify plugin + peppymeter i have more clicks performing music from spotify that getting me mad !
I made a fresh volumio installation,installed touch display and then Peppyspectrum.
In the option of peppyspectrum at first i select a package,them download (1280x400 gelo and 1480x320 gelo),then select folder spectrum,then spectrum (Random)…nothing. on the display i see only now playing screen…
Via SSh in data/internal/peppyspectrum/templetase there are the 2 folder downloaded 1280x400 Gelo that contains several template and 1480x320+99-99bars-balbuze that is empty. Howeve choosing 1280x400 gelo nothing appears on my screen.

I can’t see the plugin installation in your log…
But there’s still an error with a missing python lib.
In a ssh console, can you try
sudo apt-get install python3-pygame python3
And see what it returns

hi @Gelo5 , i see in the template folder 1480x320 that is empty and so i choose other resolutions too and it don’t change anything.
can you try

I’ve installed new version 0.0.24, and finally spectrum appears on the screen
P.s.i’ve installed Nowplaying (as you write on readme.file)
All is ok i i perform music from nas or webradios but if i try to perform music from Spotify it’s not possible, music isn’t performed (i tried several combination nowplayng off/on but no music from Spotify and Spotify disconnects)
With Spotify on,Peppyspectrum on,now playing off, music returns to be performed but i see only the backgrounds of the spectrum but without

You found a mistake… Now playing is not necessary…
Try to disable and renable Spotify plugin.
The spectrum may take several seconds to start.
It randomly stops and restart while playing.
This is a known bug. But seems to comes from peppyspectrum or peppy Alsa.
I don’t know how to fix it…

Installed new version.
My new version report:
Source: 1) Spotify 4.0.4 to performs music and Peppyspectrum On, Spotify disconnects continuosly,
so it’s not possible to use it to listen music.Ssometimes the connection stabilizes but no
music is reproduced (silence) and you only see the background of the spectrum and no
moving bars.
2) NAS & webradios to perform music and Peppyspectrum On: Music performs but spectrum
appears but bars move for several seconds and then disappear and randomly apper
moving and so on.

Did you test peppymeter and if yes, does it work?
Can you send log when using Spotify?
I tested on a Rpi4 and it is ok with headphones as output…
Peppymeter is ok (with the old and eternal audio issue (for my system) of clicks and stutterings using Spotify)
