Volumio 3 Issues?

Please see: Volumio 3 issues: hints and solutions before posting a new issue.
(You’ll need to cut and paste the link)
I wanted to install Volumio3 and unfortunately it won’t work properly. I will not install the DLNA plugin because an error pops up, I tried the same on three computers. The DAC Topping E30 only detects at 176kHz, while it can process 768,000, it doesn’t send DSD files - no (2.8 / 5.6.11.2) nothing - how could you use something like this ?? it is useless

----------------------------- Delete here & above before posting below -----------------

This must be the most helpful information statement we have all been waiting for. Talking about useless…
Don’t expect anyone to help until you come up with something more substantial than that
Like which PC? Which usb port (1.0/2.0/3.0) you connected the Topping to?
Logs?

If something is useless, you cannot use it.

but you still used it otherwise you wouldn’t come up with this question

no !, I do not use it, I had it installed on my computer for 8 hours and it did not work properly, this topic is rather information about errors, so you know what is not working, Topping connected to the USB 3.0 port, - logs? I am not an IT specialist - I have no idea where and how to get it - for me it is a program - either it works and I use it, I am able to pay for it (because someone worked on it) or I throw it away because it is not good and it does not work, like this one (volumio).
In some time with the next version of the update (maybe you will improve something) I will try and evaluate it again.
Thank you for trying to help, but that’s not what I mean, I don’t know much about programming and I have no idea what to do to make it work, it’s supposed to work, if not, then you don’t use it.
For me, Daphile just works after installing - it works fine, so I will continue to use it

Looks like a hash mismatch…. When pulling a download file.
Ordering a hamburger and getting some beer instead lol.

well, it’s probably errors on the volumio servers

Unfortunately the picture does not show the installation from the beginning. But if I had to guess I would say there has probably been an error downloading the miniDLNA package during the installation of the plugin. This can happen when e.g. the repo server is down. DNS issues could also be the reason.

I don’t know any of this, it just doesn’t work for me

previously I installed volumio 3 weeks ago, these logs are from today’s installation - all over again, the servers are down for so long ??, it is very bad for the systems. Nobody noticed this?

99,79% uptime for the repo server in the latest month, so where probably just unlucky to download at the time there were a small glitch…

You can always check your self at https://status.volumio.com/

I checked by the link you provided, they work, tried to install the plug again now and bad again, not working, not installing, same error

I tried to determine why the Topping E30 won’t work with your Wyse PC.
So far I did not see anything abnormal in the logs.
E30 is an Thesycon supported DAC, so should normally work with DSD.
Others use it with the current Volumio version without issues.
Strange that it also reports incorrect bitrate support.
Could you report the results of

lsusb -t

and

cat /proc/asound/card5/stream0

i’ll do it right now, above you have the ifo system
