I still end up discovering most of my new music through streaming service recommendations, but I don’t rely on the algorithm alone. I like checking out playlists created by real users because they often mix well-known artists with smaller bands that never show up in the mainstream recommendations. Another thing I do is look at the “fans also like” section after finding a song I enjoy. That has introduced me to a lot of artists I probably wouldn’t have searched for on my own. Occasionally I’ll also browse music forums or read discussions about new releases, since people often recommend hidden gems that haven’t made it into popular playlists yet. I think combining algorithms with human recommendations gives the best results.

someone could have the revolutionary idea of suggesting what we should listen to using algorithmic profiling. What do you think your competitors are doing 24/7?
From my perspective, the best thing you can do with CORR is get rid of it. It just irritates me to see it in the Volumio interface. Or do you think anyone is happy to see ads for products that are now in a category of their own, considered useless?
