I have the same problem like danielfelix. When i install the Plugin, it works great and the little speaker in my small kitchen player sounds better than before. But it works not long… Especially when I switch to Webradio or Youtube… After that I get no sound anymore. Also after a Reboot I have the problem.

Hello balbuze, just to inform you that since I built a linear source with an LM350T and fed directly from the Rasp3 (not from the DAC Boss as suggested in another post) all the problems were solved. 10 days ago of this, I think the information is reliable.
Tip: use a correct power source.

Thanks for the info, even if it is not clear how that affects the plugin. But you’re right, having a good PSU is a base for a good and stable system.
Am i right when i say this only works when having a pi Hat?

It is supposed to work with any output… I use it with a USB DAC, and a hat DAC.
It doesn’t work for me. Unfortunately I het the red box with could regonize Alsa etc etc.
BTW it’s in a tinkerboard with dac connected as USB

You have to wait a next version in which it should be fixed…

Hello Balbuze, I installed the new version of Volumio, 2.361.
Then I installed the Simplequal plugin from the Volumio repository.
I thought I was “stepping on” the one that was already installed, but, no, I installed it in another directory. Then there are two Simplequal installed and the system does not start.
I solved it by deleting the last one that was installed using sftp.
Therefore, you should inform that before upgrading to the new version, uninstall the Simplequal plugin that they had installed.

Airplay does not work with the Simplequal plugin.
Is this my problem? Can’t seem to get the plugin to work on a rpi3 with an IQAudio DigiAmp+ HAT casting Spotify using Airplay from an iPhone on current iOS 11. Every time I install and start the plugin all is OK at first. But once I start to play I get a second or two of sound from the DigiAmp+ then it stops and plays thru the iPhone.
Is there a special setting needed in “Playback Options” in the Volumio web interface to make the DigiAmp+ work with this plugin ?
I also have the problem that Airplay don´t works with the Equalizer Plugin. My Hardware ist the Pi Zero with an Usb Soundcard.
If I just play music from an internet Radio Station, the Equalizer works great. Is there a solution for my issue?

Hello @balbuze, I updated Volumio to version 2.375 and when starting the volume is 100%.
Long ago I did not have this problem, I had to disable the plug in.
AirPlay still does not work.
Plugin fixed with Volumio 2.378. Thank you.
