I am a paying user of Volumio and increasingly dissatisfied
I am running Volumio on an RPI 3B with Hifiberry DAC+ card.
My music collection is about 60000 tracks
When I import my music collection from the NAS with Volumio, many tracks are not playable.
They are displayed but when I try to play them the whole system reboots
I have also integrated Quobuz and it runs without any problems
I then installed Moode Audio as a test and everything can be played there.
So it’s clearly a Volumio error.
I have heard that many people have this problem
What can i do ?

Send in logs. Possibly a cue file problem, but without logs nobody can help you. Also give full details of your system, esp. OS version.

And remember to post the link for the generated log-file in this thread.

I’m having the same issue. It seems that the system is trying to add all the files in that directory into a Play Queue which causes it to hung/stuck due to the large number of files.

Is there a way to tell the system not to load every songs in a directory/folder into a queue?

I might have found the issue/solution. Because this large directory also has playlists as a left over artifacts from Winamp, Volumio recursively tried to put it all in the queue. My first test was to go into Playback Options and change the Playback Mode to Single. This solves the issue. I also went ahead and remove all the playlist files from that directory.
