Touch display plugin Issue : Pi 3B+ + 3.5 inch xpt2046 touch display + volumio 4.119

I am using raspberry pi 3b+ with a 3.5 inch touch display with xpt2046 controller.
Installed this image (Volumio-4.119-2026-03-24-pi.img) on a 64GB sd card.

If followed the steps by RedEyeNinja here. But the screen was blank.
I uninstalled the touch display plugin, then the screen started displaying the terminal console with qr code and ip address of the system. When i installed the touch display plugin again and enabled it, again the display went blank.

When i disabled the plugin, the screen again strated displaying the qr code and ip address of the system. Again, whenever i enabled the plugin, the system went blank.

I went through all the posts related to this and followed all the instructions, but the solution by RedEyeNinja was the closest i could get to get the Touch Display Plugin working.

I have the same problem .I use raspberry pi 3B+ with 3.5 inch XPT2046 .There no screen appear after I update volumio to 4.119

The display was proven working during Bookworm Alpha/Beta phases:

Setup is not straightforward, but not a rocket science either.

Also, there is Pi Screen Setup plugin in the store. Did you try it?

You both have mentioned unsuccessful setup, but neither of you have shown your userconfig.txt nor shared the log url. What support do you expect without any of above?
