Stop the Touch Display plugin, execute
sudo curl -L https://raw.githubusercontent.com/goodtft/LCD-show/master/usr/99-fbturbo.conf -o /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-fbturbo.conf
and start the Touch Display plugin.
It doesn´t work 
. But I´m going to try with a fresh volumio instalation in the next few days when my work allow me

Please post the output of
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log
again.
What I did to solve this issue with my RPi5 is:
- Create a file name â99-vc4.confâ via text editor and save with the content as follow:
Section âOutputClassâ
Identifier âvc4â
MatchDriver âvc4â
Driver âmodesettingâ
Option âPrimaryGPUâ âtrueâ
EndSection

After SSH to Volumio, type this command in the Terminal (Mac). âsudo chmod -R 777 /etc/X11/xorg.conf.dâ

Copy the â99-vc4.confâ file into â/ect/X11/xorg.conf.dâ via FileZilla/WinSCH.

Reboot
I got it to work every time I install a fresh Volumio into my RPi5. Hope this helps.

Then this https://community.volumio.com/t/issues-with-rpi5-waveshare-hdmi-display/63934/128 and this https://community.volumio.com/t/touch-display-not-working-in-v-3-601/65069/21?u=mangas. But no way, it doesn´t work.
