When I’m listening to music, the sound suddenly stops after 1-2 hours, playback appears to continue normally in the display (web/app).
It doesn’t matter whether it’s from Qobuz or falc.
When I select “next”, the display goes to “stop”. Pressing “Play”, a track from the queue or another album has no effect.
Selecting another album from Qobuz fills the queue and it starts playing in the display, but stops immediately. No sound can be heard.
Selecting an album from my flac collection empties the queue and remains empty.
Everything only returns to normal after a restart.
I had to reboot at least 3 times last night.
I’m observing this behavior on “stable” (3.757) and on testing (3.758) on various devices (RPI2, RPI3, RPI4). One with Allo DigiOne Sign., the other with Allo Boss and a third with HifiBerry Dac+.
The devices are connected either via LAN or WLAN, the error occurs everywhere. This was not the case before the last update (3.757). Nothing else has changed for me. The power supply is very good.
Hi. Aside from the network errors from within that log, any ideas as to what these could be?
Sep 29 07:21 : player: played "http://127.0.0.1:3245?data=qobuz://song/265298319"
Sep 29 07:21 : alsa_output: Decoder is too slow; playing silence to avoid xrun
Sep 29 07:25 : exception: No such playlist
It seems strange to me that on the device with Allo DigiOne Sign. the sampling rate on the connected (s/pdif) continues to be displayed until you select next or another album etc…
Yes, they are all on the same network, whether LAN or WLAN makes no difference.
I also restarted the router, repeater and switches, no improvement. Even disconnected from the power…
I am encountering exactly the same problem. Everything was very stable the last couple of months until i updated to Volumios last version a week ago. I am also on a Lan connection.
I have re-flashed the SD card with the current version 3.757. The device has been in continuous operation and repeating for about 24 hours. The entire album is constantly repeated.
The problems with the WiFi have not occurred again.
So far it seems to be working perfectly, but I will keep an eye on it and report back.
Suscribing, i’ve exactly the same symptom with loss of audio focus (USB DAC) after couple of track or 1 hour of playing from NAS and Qobuz can’t play more than two songs correctly.
Additionnaly if I turn off my preamp, my volumio frontend crash after a certain time
I play a lot with my primo so I suspected it was plugins fault but the situation is the same after hard reset from USB
This is the case on every release from the beginning with my primo
This is very odd so difficult to report, but I will definitely try to
The fact is that i’m on a stable situation using only squeezebox plugin disabling other music source
I have re-flashed all three systems. Since then, they have all been working still perfectly and stable, and the logs show no essential errors.
I like it very much like this! http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/c80Q5YT.html
I suspect the error occurred after the OTA update to 3.757.
Apparently the error does not occur with an installation after downloading and flashing the SD card.
Of course I have no proof of this.
