Spotify silent with IQAudiO DAC Plus

I can connect to spotify but there is no volume at all.
It worked yesterday but today it is silent.
I can play radio stations and MP3s with no issues at all.
The spotify volume bar looks good but the audio is silent.
This is with spotify 4.1.4 and latest volumio.
