Hi
I have several devices and spotify only plays from my pc.
I am on a family plan, so that may be a piece of the puzze.
Some of my devices are on V3 others on V4, doesn’t matter.
If i ask for spotify from the device , it loads the song but does not play.
If i connect via the app from my PC, it will say "playing Devicename " but no music.
If you could tell me specifically what i can supply to help debug, let me know. Very frustrating since I got this subscription only yesterday.

We have released version 4.2.2 of the Spotify plugin to fix this issue.

didn’t work for me, but i think the new plugin is not loading. I deleted the old one and installed the new one but reverts back to 4.1.4. if you click details it says 4.1.4 and not the 4.2.2.

I installed that but now volumio is no longer an option when I try to connect. My PC, phone and internet radio are all connectable options but volumio is not present in the list.
I tried rebooting my raspberry pi but that made no differrence.

Spotify Installation Instructions

  1. Uninstall Spotify from the device
  2. Reboot the device
  3. Install Spotify version 4.2.2
  4. Reboot again

After completing these steps, the device should appear in the Connect list within your Spotify app.
This process has been validated on three different devices

Worked for me except that I did not need the step 4.

As of a couple of minutes ago, the Spotify plugin is broken once again. Stay tuned.

After reinstal of 4.2.2 everything is working.

It’s back to working now, please expect some issues as Spotify decides what it wants to do :smile:

mmmm, they do sell that over here. Not only the fromage but also the jambon. They just stuff the little thing. (culture barbarians we are)
And yes, it taste awfull.
