I am not sure if this is a Spotify or a Volumio question. When I play a song on my laptop and then send it to play on Volumio it shows the song is playing at 44 Khz. When the same song I play by searching for it in the Volumio Web UI it plays it at 320 Khz
320 Khz? you mean 320Kbps?samplerate
The bit rate isn’t the same as the sample rate… Both plugins are using the same spot in the UI to show you different information.
The source of the confusion is because the Spotify (normal) plugin uses the samplerate to show you the bitrate . The Spotify Connect plugin shows you the samplerate i.e 44.1KHz.

Hi All,
I would like to share with my concern regarding audio quality using this plugin. I have Spotify Premium with Stream quality set to “Very High”, so according to support page here means 320kbit/s but in the playing area I can see very very bad different values of 44.1 KHz at 16bit

What I miss ? There is a further setup ? Honestly the audio don’t seem so bad, so I can’t understand if it is a “false bug”.
