Volumio 3 Issues?

Not long started using volumio and have noticed something regarding the spotify plugin. If i go into spotify on volumio, the music volume is quite a lot lower than that of other sources through volumio like using my synology nas for example. I have to turn the amp volume up quite a bit more to get even near the same volume as i would listen to normally. Have looked through every setting i can find and cant see anything wrong.
Set up is a mini pc running volumio from usb stick, usb out from mini pc to ifi zen dac air with analog out to my cyrus dac/preamp.
Would highly appreciate any help or ideas with this.
