Your RTL8822CE WiFi adapter is correctly detected by Volumio - the rtw_8822ce driver is loaded and the hardware capabilities look good. However, we need to see what happens when WiFi actually tries to connect.
Diagnostic procedure:
1. Configure WiFi (with ethernet connected if needed):
dmesg | grep -i "rtw\|firmware\|wlan" > /tmp/wifi-debug.txt
journalctl -u wireless.service --no-pager > /tmp/wireless-service.txt
ip link show wlan0
rfkill list
ls -lh /lib/firmware/rtw88/
The OTA update to version 4.066 didn’t cause any problems for me.
Thank you so much for your invaluable work – I love Volumio!

I’m not using any plugins.
I’ve performed the update to 4.066 (RC) (coming from 4.062) and all went well.
I do not see a change in the behaviour of the bootscreen. It‘s still on portrait (on a landscape mounted screen) but this is OK to me, because I avoid reboots
Actually all the rest of the system is working as expected. Really NICE, great job! Thanks a LOT!
(HW) Config:
Pi5, Raspi 2 Display (DSI), Two rotary encoders on several GPIOs
BT remote
Testing:
• Spotify plugin, works (my only use case).
• Touch display (and corresponding plugin) works
• “Now Playing” plugin works
• Bluetooth_remote plugin works
• Rotary encoders are both working
• WiFi is working (can access from laptop / phone).
• BT remote working
CORRD link now again leads to app-store , no intergrations as far as I can see.
With less and less problem reports we ere on the last stretch prior release.
Please OTA, flash fresh, test, break, fix and report back. Even a simple message of success or information what we should do better will help entire community!
Pi5 w/ NVME, 8.8" DSi touchscreen and using Touch Display 3.5.8 beta.
After OTA update from 4.064 to 4.066, I experienced errors during plugin install but I can not say if it was some sorta of user error or it corrupted in between OTA update and reboots. Updated by fresh flash to NVME while also using tips from @nerd Waveshare DSI screen setup guide post for proper rotation, I now have a clean 4.066 install running 3.5.8 Touch Display and boot/shutdown logo and login screen are properly rotated and scaled.
On a general note, the last few updates have been the most stable I’ve experienced since I started using Volumio in 2018. Fast, simple updates, no occasional hanging or need for restarts. Might be due partly to my improved network connections and equipment, but it just feels more reliable and smooth.
I’m using the Display2 with no rotation issues, incl the Plymouth splash screen.
V4.066, OTA update from 4.062

MPD OLED, Touch display, Now playing, several music plugins working all fine
Great job!!!
Volumio 4.066 OTA from 4.064
OK for playing music from SSD drive.
A few issues with Spotify plugin (“stop and go”): it may be my network or something else. http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/uEERTED.html
