I think it’s the same with @balbuze
Hey @Gelo5,
Does the behavior remain the same after disabling all plugins that interact with the audio path and performing a full power off cycle (complete energy starvation)?
I’m wondering if this might be residual state stored in EEPROM.
Kind Regards,
Hey @nerd
after disabling all plugins: the same situation.
Thank you for the response. I’ve gotten the Pi5 NVME system stable by turning off wifi and leaving everything else alone under “Networking”. Going forward, and this is strictly feedback, how reliable is the “Backup and Restore Data” plugin for the sake of beta testing? If it’s reliable thru beta testing, it may help save me time after every update.
After this latest reflash and several restart and on/off cycle, the system appears stable. However, despite it looking fine, there was 1 hiccup. System became unresponsive after a reboot, losing web/app access. Activating the touchscreen to reboot, the screen stalled out on a spinning/busy icon but it’d return to the screensaver/Now Playing on its own. After a hard reboot, it seems fine now. Here’s a log.

EDIT: Also happy to report that the Spotify plugin now remains “Authorized” thru reboots/power cycle.
To Nerd et al.
After careful consideration and weighing up all the evidence, I’ve concluded that the puns in this thread are very pungent.
And increasingly confruitational.
O! Would that I possessed the wit to divine thy meaning, alas, I remain but a humble knave, felled by the ferocity of thy fancy tongue.
Evening @nerd,
Radio search fixed for me.
Tested and working:
OTA from 4.013 to 4.014
Pi4B, SD card, USB DAC
Everything else seems to be working as before. I’ll report back with logs if I find something untoward.
Simon
There’s an ad (for CORRD) in the main menu of 4.014.
This is no ordinary add. Corrd subscribers, your Tuesday is already in motion. Watch the signals. Stay connected.
O! please don’t punish me so
Hello ,

Ps , after o have restarted volumio , Qobuz connect is ok . Not switching to iPhone after o press play .
Fresh install 4.014
Pi5B, SSD boot, HDMI-0 out, wired internet connection
Not working
Tried another reflash, didn’t help.
Working
Installation and UI works
Network music files play
Bandcamp music does play
Some web radio stations are working, others, like the BBC selection are not. I tried on my other system (Pi4B, SD card also running 4.014, USB DAC) and the BBC stations work fine.
Spotify still not working (it does on my Pi4 system). Note Spotify uninstalled for privacy reasons before generating the log.
updated log
As @SimonE mentioned.
Spotify seems to be broken on authorization token:

I so share the log as the Spotify part has been obfuscated
No issues with webradio.
Hi @Wheaten
… but weirdly fine on my Pi4 system also running v 4.014. Could there be some factor only affecting Pi5?
Same with certain radio stations, for example BBC radio 4 in the Volumio BBC radio folder. Fine on Pi4, but not on Pi5.
I run a rPi5, and yes BBC is failing.
Updated to 4.014 and web radio search is working on (the few random stations I checked) my Rpi3B & Rpi4B boxes.
Regards,
Good evening,
Just installed 4.014 via OTA - went without problems.
To my big surprise and pleasure: Reboot from installer/GUI now works.
BT remote still is connected but doesn’t work.
(HW) Config:
Pi5,
Raspi 2 Display (DSI),
Two rotary encoders on several GPIOs
NO (working) BT remote
Testing:
I’m excited about CORRD - but currently nothing happens - I’m already subscribed and use (seldom) the app (hearing music on my mobile is not a usecase for me, so I’m currently discover CORRD actively when I have spare time…)
If I interpret @Wheaten’s post correctly, Tuesday something will happen - being curious…
Nice evening to all of you,
Regards,
Ralf
