While I can’t speak on behalf of Volumio’s commercial roadmap, the Bookworm-based Beta builds are clearly scoped as platform-wide upgrades, not gated behind premium-only offerings. Every kernel, overlay, driver, and plugin refinement benefits core functionality - including yours.

If this changes at any point, that deserves open communication from the Volumio team.

As a fellow nerd, tho I’m not accredited as such by any means, I will work with your “Trust me bro!” for now.

My report of the change was May 25, and the change happened from 0.068 to 0.069:

Got around to testing v0.069 on Pi5 8GB w/ NVME boot from clean flash. Only issue I have to report is i2s/hdmi dropping out on 192/24 song that was played with no issue prior. On this flash and reboot, no DSD’s were played. http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/uiSRDIy.html
