Somebody please help…

Difficult to support due to missing hardware, as a guess your image size is not inline with the monitor resolution.

i understand but with screen code is HSD088IPW1-A00. I can’t get it to work with Pi4 and volumio

Dear Lintbf, I’m curious about the answer to this issue too.

did you try my userconfig file?

Good job, nice looking front panel - could you show wider view to whole case?

Here you are…

Excellent idea. Could you share it?

Hello @2acd,

I need a little help pls .
I have installed the plugin version . selected the custom display but when I started a song I receive the error : "Failed to open alsa . Failed to open alsa device volumio " . The meters are
started OK. V3.198. Dac topping e30
Do I still need to install peppyalsa if I installed the plugin version?
Thanks

Does this project use a touch display ???

In general yes, in particular no. I did not connect additional board and not configure it.

Please PM me.

Hello all.
I have installed Volumio 3.198 and plugin PeppyMeter 1.3.
I connected a 7 "LCD with 1024x600 resolution to my raspberry 3.
This is the display:
Display LCD 7"

The display is connected via HDMI and works well. The touch works.
I set the resolution to 1024x600 but the image is cropped at the edges.

Any idea?
Thank’s

I solved adding the following entries to /boot/userconfig.txt:

hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt=1024 600 60 6 0 0 0

Thanks

Hi Lintbf,
I want to share my experience on this topic. I’m the owner of a pavillon X2 pc tablet.
The tablet have a beautiful 720p screen and the keyboard can be unplugged. Seem to be the right candidate to implement a Volumio machine with 10inch embedded display.
So i did the installation of Volumio x86. No problem at all. The new volumio 3 is able to recognized the 5ghz wifi adapter and my usb DAC.
The touch feature is enabled by default and this is good because I’m not able to find the touch plugin.
I proceed with the installation of peppymeter plugin (step 4 on post 7). The installation went well. The I follow all the configuration steps in the plugin section) and the selection of the right meter (for me 1280 x 800).
Unfortunately when I started playing a webradio nothing happened !
I tryed also the following commands:

cd /home/volumio/PeppyMeter
export DISPLAY=:0
python3 volumio_peppymeter.py

This is the answer …
