I just failed to install peppymeter on volumio4. Has anyone tried successfully?
Use Peppy_Meter_Basic from the plugin store.
This version PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum is not compatible Version 4.
Are there any plans from the developer of PeppyMeter to have future support on version 4?
So far I haven’t heard anything or got feedback.
Thank you for the feedback ![]()
how to solve this problems
same as you ,how to solve it
If you need support please provide info, your saying “same as you” is not helping much.
Hi, is a plugin for 2880x864 resolution possible?
Of course, but there are no skins for this resolution.
Is it possible to develop skins with a resolution of 2880x864?
It’s possible, but there is only 1 such monitor (yours)!
I can make you a trial skin in my free time. Choose a skin (ONE) from the 3840x2160 or 1920x1080 resolution (click on my Avatar - there are skins there).
PS. 12,6"
I ordered a 12.7-inch NV127H4M LCD display with a resolution of 2880x864 on AliExpress (suitable in size). Then I came across your forum and realized that there are no skins for this display. I’ll try to refuse and take another one, if it doesn’t work out, then I’ll write.
Recently, I successfully installed and ran PeppyMeter 2.2.1 on Volumio 4, but it was unstable and crashed The error tracking should be in PyGame, I changed to different versions of Pygame 2.20 2.30 2.40 2.502.60 2.61, but none of them could solve this problem. Sometimes it can run for 100 seconds, sometimes it can only run for5-10 seconds. PyGame is installed through PIP, and the Python version is 3.11.
Looking forward to your reply
Thanks!
I’d like to report a MISSING person!
Where is Falk (2aCD)?
I’m still on v3.xxx most of the time because I really like the PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum over the Basic one.
This has been my biggest concern on moving to 4.x too
. I really love this plugin…
Best regards…
Angel
I have successfully run PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum 2.2.1 perfectly on Volumio 4 system without any errors or missing features.
Yesterday I found a solution and successfully ran PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum 2.2.1.
BRAVO! Share the solution.
