Project with PeppyMeter/PeppySpectrum Screensaver Plugin for VOLUMIO

You really can’t read? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: or you don’t want to read? :grin:
Yes, overwrite original meters.txt
or
add the entire new meters.txt to the original meters.txt
or
rename original meters.txt – eg meters1.txt and copy new meters.txt

What is the difference between 1.4.0 vs 1.4.1, I guess I missed the information.

Have you read this?

As I wrote

I go to beginning of thread but on first post still 1.4.0

My fault, I’m too lazy to check post nr 7 :slight_smile: and thought that is striclty something new.

Thank you.

Fantastic work, visually stunning. Can you please re- upload your fantastic skins as the download links have expired.

I connected 10,4 Waveshare with 1600 x 720 res… but I found way to run it with another resolution peppy meters.

Here with 1024 x 600:

maybe it’s normal but I did it by accident and confirmed few times that it works. It gives more peppy meter LCD option.

it’s squeezing the layout a bit, working but not ideal.

Yes, but its depend what skin and resolution you choose, on first skin it is not a problem. Squeezing is because of proportions 1,7 to 2,2. In my opinion is better than visible screen without peppy meter

Which one?

@eMCZe
the first three points on post 7 are new in 1.4.1, the others in 1.4.0

Yes, believe it or not, I can read. .
Got it working on my HD Sony TV, looks AMAZING.

Last question, how do I get rid of the Bar at the bottom of the screen, the one that shows “Stop” “Next Track” etc?
Many thanks

by using the correct resolution in Peppy meter. seems your height is incorrect.
The loaded template does not match your screen resolution.

Adjust the skin to your resolution - you used a skin with a lower resolution than your monitor (or you have a monitor with an unusual resolution)
Edit:
@Wheaten
We’re writing at the same time again

yeah the moment I pressed reply, you’re comment showed below it.

Many thanks
Where do I adjust the resolution parameters.
I am using a 75" TV

Cheers

Size doesn’t matter (ONLY in this case) :ok_hand:
Enter into userconfig.txt:

hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1920 1080 60 3 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=2

and force the TV to have this resolution. Use 1920x1080 skins

is it time to look at vector based meters because of scalability?
or is this not possible with peppy?

1600*720 “Test” Skin work fine with v 1.4.0
