I have check my plugin, if it conform with latest buster 3.569. I see it needs some little changes.

do you have installed the latest Volumio version?
I have seen, with the alsa option set to ‘Modular Alsa’ no more resampling of DSD-files with my DAC.
Can you confirm this with your DSD files on your DAC display?
This option is the only one option, that pipes all input (incl. Spotify) to PeppyMeter. The problem so far was, that DSD files resampled to 192Khz. Is it still like that?
Otherwise this is the prefered setting for everyone, who also uses Spotify.
If the option set to ‘DSD direct’ I create a new MPD output pipe exclusivly for PeppyMeters. Then we don’t affect the standard output pipe. The best way to play DSD files and all other sources (Tidal… ), but Spotify don’t use the MPD, it use an own player. Therfore with this option we have no input for PeppyMeters.
The only way to use Spotify with the DSD direct option, is a redirection of Spotify output to MPD input.
I have an idea how I can do this, bit it is a bit tricky and not simple. I would only do this, if the modular alsa option not correct working with all sources.

Hi together,
I’m ready with a new Beta version of PeppyMeter plugin 1.3.8. It is running with Buster 3.569.
I have try to route the Spotify output to PeppyMeters. This is a bit tricky, therfore a new option is available to enable or disable this feature.
The installation folder is changed (Volumio conform) to:
/data/plugins/user_interface/peppy_screensaver- All additional skins are working also with this version.
Download 1.3.8 beta:
Important:
-save your additional skins
-deinstall the old version before you start the new installation.
-the best way is a fresh new installation of volumio
This is only a temporary download to test some things

It’s not what I want, it’s user suggestions (me too). The first and most important question: are you able to include the information contained in the TAG? I’ll write the next one later.

When you had mentioned the NUC type I could have told you it would not work because of the unsupported graphics controller in the current x86 5.10.92 kernel.

Finally with the beta volumio now i see the gui on my screen, but it’s not possible to change the gui layout ,only Manifest is possible ,if i change layout it returns automatically on manifest. Peppy meteres installed fron the zip file on #7 post ,correctly setted, don’t starts.
