I can’t get it installed on a Raspberry Pi 4 with the latest Volumio either. 
Updated YouTube2, YouTube Music and YouTube Cast Receiver plugins for Bookworm-based Volumio.
There will be no further updates of these plugins for current Buster-based Volumio. It is too time-consuming for me to make modern libraries used by the plugins work in a legacy environment. I do not want to do that anymore now that Bookworm is available.
Now would be a good time to test the Bookworm release and report any issues to the developers.

I instsalled the update but got error when playing content. Volumio 3.812
There is no update for V3.812
Only bookworm version will be updated.
ohh I see. On the plugin installing option it says plugin updated 21-05 that is why I got confused.
I think something are not ok after uninstall reboot and install all new plugin there are again in old version and upgrade not work

I too can confirm that YT Music works fine in Bookworm 0.68. As a bonus, YT Cast also works which has never worked for me in Buster. Cheers and Thanks @patrickkfkan

I am on 0.069 and the plugin works there. However, for some reason I am capped to 160kbps vbr even though I have Premium. Below is an example but it’s the same for every song.
