Thanks. I downloaded Bookworm vloumio from here. Install on my rasbery pi5. Then install youtbe cast receiver plugin (2.0.5 version). Everything works great.

Can confirm that the latest OS 4.005-2025-05-31 installed on pi3 with youtube cast receiver 2.0.5 works like a charm again.

I am currently on the latest version of Volumio (4.062) with the following plugins installed:

Youtube2 2.3.6
Youtube Cast Receiver 2.0.8
Youtube Music 2.3.5

I cannot get any of them to work. Going into the plugin settings restarts the Rasberry Pi and trying to play anything does the same.

This is a Raspberry Pi Zero 2. Any Advice?

now long time Youtube broadcast dont work,
I Have RPI 4 with 8BG ram, i just update to the newest version , but still dont work, i was in dev mod enabled test mode and all other reinstall and install …but nothing, else, spotify and Tidal woks perfect
did everyone know whats happening and than it will be a soulution , THX

Does anyone know the best way to make this work?

App in test mode? Plugin test mode or not?
Also don’t know if you are meant to link with tv (seems like a one-session type thing) then it should play, or use the other volumio device?
Do you need to uninstall youtube2?

Was happy to use youtube2 as it used to work, but doen’t anymore either.

My configuration is: Volumio (4.073 on Rpi5 with the following plugins installed:
Youtube2 2.4.0
Youtube Cast Receiver 2.1.0
Youtube Music 2.4.0

Youtube2 and Youtube music are ok.
Youtube cast receiver don’t go !
My YouTube smartphone apk is properly connected via the Volumio Cast receiver plugin code for the TV, but when I play a file on YouTube on my smartphone, the streaming doesn’t start and then I get this error message on Volumio.

Is there any solution ?

YouTube cast receiver has stopped working for me. So I tried YouTube music, but that also doesn’t work. I’ve really struggled with volumio. How would this motivate me to pay that much for a premium subscription?

Error I get is unexpected token ‘<’ <!DOCTYPE is not valid json. Restart, update, restart YouTube music, clear cache, restart phone. Nothing works. When it used to work, it at least worked ok.

   i have a premium account for spotify.
   i installed spotify plugin.
   available … login .
   can view my lib.
   but when i play song , timer is stop and not play.

i need help , above 2 reasons… plz…
