[PLUGIN] Touch Display

Repeat the procedure. Play on TV. Don’t disable RPI and change HDMI

Gelo,… It’s confusing, now there is no mouse/keyboard available on the Volumio system which is connected directly to the HDMI standard monitor, several restarts have been carried out…

I don’t understand. Did you do as I said? If you have an image on a normal monitor, switch to 1280x400

hi Gelo, sorry about all the problems…

I can’t change the resolution to 1280x400 at the moment;
for reasons unknown to me, no mouse or keyboard is currently recognized by the Volumio OS…

to relax, I took a break with a vinyl on one of my turntables…:man_facepalming::star_struck:®

mouse now available(was turn off in Plugin config); how can i

change to 1280x400

remove the HDMI plug from the 24" monitor and insert it into the 1280x400 monitor.
DO NOT disable RPI

same blank screen…:frowning:

OK, now enter your monitor data in userconfig.txt and reboot
PS. Does the monitor have power?

power comes from Pi USB3; directly power is available, but nothing changes…

Display data‘s for this modell are not specific available, the only parameters i have and know are;

7,8“ 1280x400 ISP HDMI Touch Display (Pi compatible, see screen from Pi OS

So ask e.g. @wheaten for userconfig.txt data (he has a 1280x400 monitor, I gave mine to my son). Or wait for @nerd to advise something

o.k., Thank you for your patience and support, greetings from ReyNee & Radio-M1, the only one…

The important thing is that volumio works. Only monitor configuration…

yes, i understand, but i don‘t understand this :man_facepalming:®:sunglasses:damned Display…

Try again to enter this in userconfig.txt:

hdmi_group=2
hmdi_mode=87
hdmi_timings=400 0 160 24 160 1280 0 12 2 10 0 0 0 60 0 58000000 7
hdmi_drive=1
hdmi_blanking=1

and reboot

userconfig adjusted,
result:
no HDMI recognizable on the display, display blank…
thanks again…

The only hope is GURU @nerd &@gvolt
Try another userconfig:

display_rotate=1
hdmi_force_mode=1

framebuffer_width=1280
framebuffer_height=400
max_framebuffer_width=1280
max_framebuffer_height=1280

and reboot

Running on a rPi4, V3.757 and V3.778

userconfig.txt:

hi wheaton; thans for your config data, here are the result, monitor grafics working, but Display is blinking and works not correctly…

Try, maybe one of them will work

:star_struck:hi GELO:star_struck:

these are the :star_struck: pleasing results of your transmitted config data, now just get the display to rotate and to paraphrase a song by

Stealers Wheel - Everything’s gonna work out fine…
