Hey @nerd
Update to latest firmware went just fine, Both on rPi4 and 5. 4.067
Hey @Darmur,
Thank you for reporting this issue and providing the detailed log. I’ve identified and fixed the problem - CM4 systems were missing the required configuration flags when querying available firmware versions.
An update will be published to the plugin repository soon. Once available, you can update through the plugin manager.
After updating, the plugin should correctly display available firmware versions for both default and latest channels on your CM4 setup.
Thanks again for the detailed report and your patience!
Kind Regards,
Dear Volumionauts,
Version 1.0.6
Key changes:
- Fixed CM4/CM4S/CM4i firmware version detection issue
- CM4 systems now correctly display available firmware versions for both default and latest channels
- No changes for other hardware (Pi 4B, Pi 5, Pi 400, Pi 500, CM5 continue working as before)
If you’re running a CM4, CM4S or CM4i and previously saw “Not available” for firmware channels, this update resolves that issue.
Update via Plugin Manager as usual.
Kind Regards,
Dear Volumionauts,
Version 1.0.7
Key changes:
- Fixed CM4/CM4S/CM4i firmware version detection and configuration
- Self-healing configuration that automatically adapts to current hardware
- Firmware versions now display correctly on CM4 after selecting a channel
- Safe SD card migration between different Pi models (config automatically cleans up hardware-specific flags)
For CM4/CM4S/CM4i users: Simply select your preferred firmware channel (default or latest), and the plugin will automatically configure everything needed. Firmware versions will display immediately after channel selection.
@Darmur - big thank you for testing and feedback.
Update via Plugin Manager as usual.
Kind Regards,
