Got it finally. Since the “Basic view” in as the first option on Startup Option was “hidden” when I accessing Volumio from Mobile phone I was confused what are you refer to:-). Thank you so much Patrick.

Now Playing and Touch Screen Plugin Issue
I have Now Playing working on my Pi5, with the Touch Screen Plugin for the AMOLED 5.5" display.
I also have Peppy Screen Saver and Spectrum installed but have disabled them in an attempt o figure this out.
Volumio will start up and Now Playing works. If paused or stopped, the Inactive Screen kicks in as setup. After the configured time in Touch Display it turns off.
However, if I start playback again via the browser interface the display stay dark. Is that working as intended and I actually have to “touch” the screen to wake it up or do I have a configuration conflict somewhere?
On the Touch Display plugin’s configuration page in the “Screensaver Settings” section enable “No Screensaver While Playing”.

would it be possible in one of the upcoming updates to differentiate the setting for the font size of metadata (lyrics) between portrait and landscape orientations?
I’ve made some custom modifications (including the font size for metadata) and managed to find a good balance between the two viewing orientations, but now the text is too small on a large horizontal screen (e.g., a TV), while it’s perfect on smartphone in portrait view (I set 17px, because the default one is too small for me).

Hi. My stoped work Yesterday. Today I update Volumio, update NowPlaying… still only calendarand and clock
In mine case. all three Volumio players stopped to show weather forecast.

Weather issue fixed in v0.7.4, currently in beta channel. To update:
- (optional) Backup current settings under “Backup / Restore Settings”
- Uninstall old version
- Restart Volumio
- Enable “Plugins Test Mode” in
http://<your volumio address>/dev - Go to plugin store → click Details button under Now Playing plugin → install latest beta version
- (optional) Restore settings under “Backup / Restore Setting”

How do you get the weather to display the days of the week? I was trying different things and it came up once, but I can’t get it back.

yes i am. And every once in a while the screen pops up with the weather for the week. I touch the screen and it disappers and I don’t know how to get it back
maybe you can play with Idle time setting on the plugin.
if youy can I can send you backup seting of mine plugin . You can copy to plugin backup directory on Rpi and restore. You will see then
Actually, I just have a dark blank screen when its idle. So maybe I need to adjust that it doesn’t go blank.
maybe that’s in a touch screen setting?

Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but can this plugin be used to view the now playing screen in a browser on my laptop. I have volumio installed on a pi, and 99% of the time im controlling it from the local volumio.local url. I’ve installed the plugin, but when I put in the url 192.168.1.3:4004 or volumio.local:4004 into a browser it shows a page, but there’s no information on it.
Would really like an alternative now playing screen, with the ability show lyrics for the current track.
