@balbuze @supercrab I am also facing problems on the device with software volume, any chance you can update the plugin with this fixed configuration?
No problem for me. @supercrab you are the author, would you please update, submit and send a PR?
@balbuze will do later
thank you both!
Hi!
Updated to 1.1.3 stable
TY @supercrab
Thanks @balbuze! It’s working well.
@Adrii thanks for the update about SPI and Raspberry Pi 5
I have a Pi2aes card. Is it possible to connect an OLED mpd to its pins (4)? (soldering from below)
TY
Yes, it should be fine as the I2C bus can be used for multiple devices
e.g. PIN
1, gnd, 28, 27 - right?
or
1,3,5,GND?
Yas sir
@supercrab - superthanks
Hello everyone,
I’m trying to get an OLED LCD screen to work, SSD1309 2.4" I2C 128x64
With an arduino it works, but not with the MDP OLED plugin.
I installed the plugin via the volumio web interface. I scanned the I2C address and set it in the plugin options but nothing happened.
Can you help me?
Try different screen options.
Do I have to restart each time?
Nah, no need to restart
unfortunately I burned the Pi2aes card!! I didn’t give up, I bought a regular card (Alliexpres, 45$), connected it together with Mpd Oled. It works, but the sound is “intermittent”. If I turn off the plugin - everything plays fine.
If the Chinese card uses SDL and/or SDA port, this can happen.
This means that neither Pi2aes nor a regular card can be connected in parallel with Mpd OLED
