If plugin is enabled - @patrickkfkan YouTube music plugin does not work. If Peppymeter is disabled - YouTube works.

Am I right in thinking that Basic doesn’t work with YT Music and Spotify?
I see no reason to not work!
edit: I re-checked on Volumio Bookworm and I confirm it works nicely with Spotify and Youtube2.
No freeze in this version!

Everything works when I turn off Basic. Strange

Can you try to add FusionDsp and retry please?
Maybe you can turn off the DSP and check if it works?

In my case in on Bookworm 4.011 no audio via USB (Use alientek d8) if enable Peppymeter Basic, I have try different configuration also of mixer but nothing work for me

- Uninstall all plugins first, besides “Touch Display”
- Upgrade to Bookworm V4.021
- Install only Peppy_Meter_Basic
What are the results?
if it is still failing post a log.
The problem are when use the Youtube plugin, Peppy_Meter_Basic must be disable for use youtube plugin.
No ticket for our log if we are “free”…

I’m having a similar issues to some of the previous posts. I have my pi4 hooked up via USB to McIntosh DA2. Before installing Peppy Meter Basic plugin via the Volumio’s Plugin UI, I was able to play DSD/PCM@192khz. After installing the Peppy Meter plugin, the system would output any FLAC file playback at 44.1khz.
I’m assuming it’s something to do with ALSA but I have no idea where to start troubleshooting this. Any suggestion?
As designed, the alsa path of the plugin can’t work with DSD.
DSD have to be converted to Pcm to be use by peppy or FusionDsp.
I’ll plan to do something for next version for volumio 4…
I had my old Pi3 setup when Peppy Meter wasn’t an official plugin and somehow I was able to get the DSD to go through the VolumioHw first. I’ll have to dig up the old setup when I get some time.
