If you mean with volumio 2, I guess it was not working at all. I can not remember. But I know that dsd files did not work when peppymeter was configured in volumio 2 (not with alsa modular). I needed to have the default mod conf, with the mpd conf config yration for peppy dsd files results in hanging volumio and performing a conversion to pcm.
Regarding the inverse setings for dsd direct, this is not an issue? This is ok to be like this?

Why does this message continually appear when I sudo in Putty?
sudo: unable to resolve host volumio3: System error
Otherwise it works fine.
Did you just change the hostname of the device?
Check cat /etc/hosts
if you have an entry mapping localhost to volumio3
Say
127.0.0.1 localhost volumio_3
How change this?
You donāt have to⦠Maybe itās easier for you to just reboot and send a log for debugging?
Please donāt post your issue in more than one thread, there is no need for engaging multiple people to get your problem resolved, you might waste valuable resources
Youāre right. I thought that this forum was not āOfficial Busterā, so when I found a problem that was not the fault of my incursion in the plugins, but of the system itself, I decided to publish it in āOfficial Busterā
Sorryā¦
typical response in this forum ⦠it is not about supporting Volumio users, but volumio users responding to the needs of the forum developers
Maybe it is Like this or not but I am super happy with all the help that I have received during the last year. Maybe my objective are the same as forum developers :).
good for you . but in my case I spent 1 year with volumio buster x86 waiting for the Spotify plug-ins to come out and when it seemed to reach the end of the road, the thread closed and they switched to Volumio 3 leaving aside the 32b x86 platforms ā¦
i think both iām a user and help others with what i have learned,
and i will add my part of tweaks ect and bug hunting in betaās and plugins.
the developers and users are needed to get a great productā¦
32bit systems are already doomed because everything is going forward to 64bit.
Hi,
I have an old acer laptop which is 32 bits. Will volumio 686 for 64 bits will work on this laptop?
Thanks
you have to ask @gkkpch he knows if it could work for volumio,
i have to know more about the system there could be some bottlenecks if possible.
it could be that it could handle 64bit systems blind i canāt tell if it does.
Ok, thanks, I will return back when I have the exact model and specification.
To be honest, I totally agree with @sucama , for the beta we have asked users to help, but there is nothing wrong with it. Most developers are community members, this is where the community lives from and is able to get this software out for everyone, free of charge. Most members appreciate that, obviously some donāt
@sucama you have been told before, when you are not happy with that, do not participate in the beta testing and wait until we are finished. Most of us are doing this in free time, how ignorant can you be?
Can we please stop going offtopic with issues that have no relation with āPlugin Adventures on Busterā?
You can post any other question/remarks in other forum places
Thank you.
@danielfelix
It seems something not especially related to the equalizer happens sometimes with buster. Mpd die, for a not clear reason⦠In that case, you canāt access the local lib, Nas ⦠When you disable the plugin, it restart mpd, so it work again.
When this occurs, please have a look at /var/log/mod.log and post it here.
Thanks
