What is the correct mixer? I guess it isn’t E30?

You could try copy pasting the code from my PR into index.js and restarting the volumio node process…

Are you refering to mixer control Name? If yes, indeed is e30… By default, should I write anything here? I do not have other options…
Balbuze said that his plugins has the latest update.
Thanks

In the pulgin dir, open up the volspotify.tmpl file, hardcode device to volumio and restart the service, it should work then…

Can you share what your volspotify.toml file looks like? I think the card for the mixer is not getting set correctly. It need to be the actual hardware card, and not volumio.
@blabuze - Can you test [volspotconnect2] Add support for ALSA modular pipeline by ashthespy · Pull Request #299 · balbuze/volumio-plugins · GitHub? It should work both on Jessie and Buster, so can be released once tested…

pls find the output of the file volspotify.toml.txt (1.1 KB)

device = ‘plughw:volumio’ is wrong… Are you sure you used my version : https://github.com/balbuze/volumio-plugins/raw/alsa_modular/plugins/music_service/volspotconnect2/volspotconnect2.zip ? :thinking: doubt…
But I’m testing a PR from @ashthespy right now

I am sure :slight_smile: but I will reinstal it again from your provided link. I will not take it from github modular alsa. :slight_smile:
Then ai will wait a little bit for your test, pls give me the go for testing.

it is from modular alsa… Please check if you didn’t have a previous file on your system…

You have two issues,

device = 'plughw:volumio'
mixer-card = 'hw:volumio'

I would suggest editing the index.js in the plugin dir and copy paste in the code from balbuze’s repo… Then you are sure that it is the correct version :slight_smile:

If I unistall the curent version and install again it is ok?

yes, but take care if still have a previous downloaded file to not reuse it instead of the new

I have install it again and have the same issue . I have deleted all before install . I have check the toml file and same as above

ok… try this one, it supports both version of volumio (@ashthespy) :volspotconnect2.zip (821,9 Ko)

Just tested on Buster, with other plugins ok!

I give up . I will try to install after I will reinstall volumio on a fresh card,. Any way I am not using the connect feature . I just wanted to have it .

Dsd and mpd oled.
What do you think about this :slight_smile:

On all dsd files I see the wright part of the spectrum, the same bars x somehow the spectrum starts from a default state wich is not 0, lower in left and higher in wright side.

Edit: now is not working :slight_smile: something is weird :smiley:
I have activated and disable the plugin and of course it gave me same error that it când not restart spotify connect service

Wt… Now the bars starting to raise a little bitb:) like they are growing… I guess if I continue to listen only to dsd files the display will full with bars…

Spotify connect
I have installated the version form balbuze github modular alsa and it working :slight_smile:
What have you changed in the emantime :smiley: Strange
Thanks

No change since 6th February…

Then hazard :slight_smile: . Great that it is working.

Curiosity, had you tested DSD with mpd oled in the base version, using mpd.conf pipe?
