put to the test with the same DSI 4.3 inch touch screen. new latest volumio 3 image install, plugin downloaded and activated, works just fine no problem. otherwise no changes were made on the system if only the touch plugin was installed. as writing program i used raspberry pi imager. beautiful old ess es9018 dac including cabinet for little money. took the khadas and touchscreen out of that Woody cabinet and built it in here. nice all in one, music via khadas/volumio and the ess es9018 dac for tv/mac and pc. i2s raspberry pi via volumio and the ess es9018 also works fine. My self-build volumio streamer

Made another streamer last week, now for my brother-in-law. if you want to build it, below are the parts used for this project. more photos are below. pay attention! do not use the power supply Power Module A-19 2x3-20V LT1083, this will in principle get too hot and can cause problems in the long run. therefore try to use another suitable power supply yourself. see also post from @livs [IMG_20210927_113814] a bit of soldering experience is a must.
