Latest Image "freezes" RP 4 when loading

Hello all, I have (temporarily) given up on the latest Volumio as I can not start it on my year old Raspberry Pi 4. I just get past the “Splash” screen and the Pi 'freezes" (network lights off, fan off, black screen (Official RP touch screen). I originally thought it was a hardware issue, but I can load ANY other image or app on the unit. I was hoping I can roll back to an older build as I still have another RP 4 with 3.886.

Sounds like a step missed in the setup.

Please make sure that you followed the setup guide
Get Started - Volumio fully.

Check that you unzip the image before flashing it with Raspberry Pi Imager.

and download it only from: Get Started - Volumio
Images provided by the Raspberry Imager are breaking while flashing, due to the way the tool handles them.

While I did use the RP imager, I downloaded the file from Volumio direct. I actually tried both the included one (in the imager app) and direct download. It was working before. Had to reimage when Jellyfin plugin crapped out.
