Introducing CORRD: A New Way to Discover Music, from Volumio with love

Maybe not disable it, but create a menu like “News” under menu “plugins” where this kind of info can be placed. So it’s a bit less dominant?

Perhaps a little bit a stupid question, but how to change volume in CORRD?

With the vol+ and vol- buttons on my mobile (Samsung A55 5G) I cannot change the volume and in difference what Microsofts CoPilot told me there is no ruler on the bottom of the now playing view.

Correction:
The “Volume Up” and “Volume Down” buttons on my cell phone work, but the volume does not change immediately, but with a slight delay (~3 seconds), which takes some getting used to.

Edit / Correction 2:
I like to add that the volume control actually does not work at all in some cases, i.e. not even with a delay :-/

Come on, considering that “Get CORRD” is only visible when you click on “Show settings,” and even then nothing is hidden, it’s hard to understand why anyone would be bothered by this.

Easy: on some of my screens, the Corrd line means that I have to scroll to see the bottom of the menu.

We hear you, I understand that the CORRD small banner might be a small annoyance. At the same time it’s important for us to spread the word about COORD (and from the installs we see that many of you appreciate it  ).

So bear with this, I know it’s a little inconvenient but we tried very hard to make it less intrusive as possible.

This is a case where we don’t want to compromise the usability. So we’ll fix it. Could you let me know which resolution of the screens where you have to scroll?

On my laptop (Win11) I only see the banner if the zoom is less than 120%

On my phone (Android), the banner only shows up when the zoom is below 75%.
It seems like the banner doesn’t show up when the zoom would require scrolling to see all the items in the menu.

Yes, because we made it in a way to show only on resolutions which allow the full menu to be displayed without the need for scroll… Hence my question about resolution in the previous topic.

Hi, is there a plan to have Corrd natively embedded or as a plugin in Volumio? I like and use the mobile app and understand the benefits of it for listening music on the go, but I find cumbersome, when at home, to stream from mobile app to Volumio as it add an unnecessary transfer node. This is a weak point in current implementation, generating streaming stops. I would find more practical and robust to have it all in Volumio and control Volumio from my phone. Obviously the Corrd Volumio plugin or feature service should only be accessible for paid Cordd app subscribers.
Keep on developing the software, this is really a nice idea and it has already bring me hours of enjoyable listening! Kudos !

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been away and wanted to make sure… and I was wrong (sorry for that too).

I’ve replied from memory, but the fact is that a RPi4 with and original Rasp screen hides the bottom buttons, but does not show the Corrd and, so that’s not the problem.

Again, sorry for the mistake.

Any discounts for active Volumio subscribers?
