For info, a problem may be due to an error in a config file. This is the case in FusionDsp
v1.0.33
v1.0.34
v1.0.35
So update to v1.0.36.
It should fix this.
Thanks
Here as well, 20hr test playlist with a mix of formats, bit and samplerates.
No issue at all on an Odroid N2+, which had problems with earlier versions (white noise, completely frozen etc.).
the first time I did it , it worked fine. THe tone sounded well and picked up by phone well and uploaded it . The changes made to the dsp were great . From then on the tone is garbled at parts . Usually at the beginning and uploading doesnāt work.
Not sure I know how to upload houscurve file.

Found another way FusionDSP goes silent. It has quite a specific use case, but did happen a few times the other night during a 3 hour period.
Situationā¦There was two of us choosing tracks (from either the queue or from my local library on my server).
Iād pick a track, itād play and as it faded out the next track was selected by the missus, back and forth.
But⦠occasionally everything would go silent, and unresponsive. At the time, I just rebooted and off it went again, until it happened againā¦
Yesterday I had a few hours to mess about and try to reproduce it.
It is very specific to reproduce, if I select the next track ~1 second before the end of the last track then itāll go silent and play / pause and track selection is unresponsive.
A reboot will fix it, if I go into plugins, disable and enable FusionDSP it will start playing again.
Also not sure if it did it more going from 16b to 24b, but that may be a coincidence.
Did wonder if it was a Volumio issue but I cannot reproduce it with FusionDSP disabled.
I know⦠if we use the āadd to queueā option it wouldnt happen. On a mobile device āadd to queueā is hit and miss, add a late night and a few rums into that and you have no chance
I just wish that the Volumio team would add the option to be able to select the track which then adds it to the queue.
but hey ho it is what it is

Hi, I am using Fusion for PEQ filter, it works well.
Now I am trying to use FIR filter computed with REW and Rephase.
I export impulse file at 96 Khz in DBL or 16 bit Wav format, then fusion tells that it verifies clipping and then stop workinf after few seconds. The volumio interface is frozen therefore i can acces to volumio only with SSH.
I am using latest version of volumio with a RPI3.
Is these somebody using FIR filter with fusion volumio, and is it working ? How do you parameters Fusion, what kind of filter format to be use , are we oblige forcing volumio to resample all to 96 Khz ?
Thank,
Thierry
Hello. I noticed a error when clipping detection is used with last version. But it is not supposed to freeze.
Your filters may require attenuation though.
Disable clipping detection and apply filter. Then enable pure Camilla guiā in an other window.
Play something and check if clipping occurs.
If yes, you have to add enough attenuation to avoid clipping.
Iāll fix it soon.
Hi,
I just try the files you provide with the installation of Fusion (Phase inversion left and right) in PCM format, itās exactly the same.
Now as you suggest, I will put an attenuation ie 6 db and diseable clipping detection.
I keep you informedā¦
Thank for you support.
Thierry
So I confirm, the fact to desactivate clipping detection , , the Volumio interface is no more frozen, then impossible to play music, I can change the song, but when I put play nothing append, the time is frozen, itās not playing.
Weirdā¦
I do not provide file called phase inversionā¦
I use fir for month without issue.
The only issue with last 3 versions is that clipping is not detected properly and always set with -3dB instead of the correct value.
One other point, refresh the page if you add or remove filters from the Fir folder. Because if you remove a filter, without refresh it is still available in the scrolling list, but if you select it, it will fail.
So please test with files provided (demo_xxx).
And send log when it hangs.
