I will try to answer this as exclusive as you post yours.
Have you tried?
Serious how do you think people can support you by only giving “Can’t see flac files???”
Sorry, was confused my the message about Volumio 3; the problem is that i have a NAS with large amounth of flac files. I can select the maps from the nas (connect With NSF), but no files are scanned. The flac files are checked and ok. Greetings Ben
Lastest Volumio version with Rarpberry.
Guess you’re not a fan to answer what we need.
Can’t support you this way, I am not in the mood for a guessing game.
Wrong mount entry, wrong credentials, wrong access rights.
Access rights are ok: rw. I can see the golders in the NAS. Can select the Music folder. The mounting of the map is no problem only scanning the files; i guess it maybe has something to with metadata absent?
It’s in Dutch; sorry. You see the maps ‘audiophile recordings, Muziek and Muziek2 are NAS maps mounted ok. The maps contain flac file wich are checked and ok (i can play them with Flacbox). Wy does Volumio import them in my music library?
Because a mount is successful it doesn’t mean that the files are accessible. If you copy or manage files using a windows box, the rights go wrong. If the rights are not granted for the user that mapped the drive it can’t be scanned or accessed.
Gr. Ben

Hi, back to Dutch for a bit. I’m running Volumio on HiFi Digi Pro+ with DDDAC. I’ve uploaded the latest version for Volumio. My NAS is a Fujitsu Q902. I’ve been trying to get the NAS mounted for months now. I was able to mount a section with an older version of Volumio using CFS. Now with the new version, CFS no longer works. It mounts NSF fine, but it doesn’t scan music. Regards, Ben
You need to validate which SMB version is supported by your Fujitsu Q902. The highest supported version can be added as option when you mount your NAS. The Fujitsu Q902 supports max SMB 2.1. Leaving the options blank, Volumio will automatically mount with vers=3.1.1.
| Version | Options |
|---|---|
| SMB 1.0 | vers=1 |
| SMB 2.0 | vers=2 |
| SMB 2.1 | vers=2.1 |

Yes, working now; SMB setting was not correct. Thank you very much for the support! Br. Ben
You need to perform one full scan. If you stop it before it finished nothing will be saved or only partial.
Discussions around council tax enforcement are heating up in the Goodf forum thread “Council tax debts now unenforcable.” Members debate whether old debts, especially those beyond six years, can still be pursued by councils. While many assume time-barred debts are automatically void, the presence of a liability order can keep them legally enforceable. The conversation underscores the importance of knowing your rights and checking the specifics of your case. Just as clarity and security are crucial in handling financial matters, they’re equally vital in communication. Ok, how long can it take? Got 100000 files from NAS ![]()
Just sit and wait, I expect between 1-2 hours
Volumio cannot index my NAS music after scanning all files. I waited 24 hours; the ‘running’ symbol is still present. I have scanned and indexed the files before using Plex (a plug-in from the NAS). It took Plex about eight hours to scan and index the file.
