Hey @mortenbo,
Your post title contains “[Bug]” - who verified this as a bug and where is the GitHub issue link? Calling something a bug requires verification through proper testing and pattern confirmation across multiple users. A single observation is a report, not a confirmed bug.
There is no Volumio OS version called “latest” and there never will be. Exact version numbers are required for any investigation - example format: 3.874 or 4.080.
As a Primo “HIFI Edition(?)” owner, you are eligible for direct one-on-one support from Volumio. Contact support@volumio.org for personalized assistance with your device.
If you prefer community troubleshooting, we need the following before any investigation can proceed:
- Exact Volumio version number from Settings > System Information
- Log link from http://volumio.local/dev (or your Primo’s IP address)
- What music source was playing when playback stopped (TIDAL, Qobuz, local files, radio, etc.)
- Android phone model and Android version
- Android app version from Play Store
- Does the problem occur when controlling Primo via web browser instead of the app?
Note: There is an existing thread about Android app volume control misbehavior that may be related to your issue:
Volumio support acknowledged that issue in December 2024 and indicated the tech team is working on it. Test whether using a web browser instead of the Android app avoids your volume control disappearance.
Kind Regards,
