Hi, I have the latest version of Volumio running on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Pi2AES 2.0 hat and I’m experiencing a strange issue. I have Volumio Premium, and am using Qobuz Connect to play music through the streamer. However, every time I click “pause”, I get the error “An error occurred while playing the current track” and it skips to the next track. This happens whether I’m using the Qobuz app on my Mac, the Qobuz app on my phone, or just hitting the pause button in Volumio.local.
Interesting things: I temporarily switched back to my old Hifiberry Digi+ Pro hat, and the problem went away, I could play and pause normally. Unfortunately, the sound quality on that hat isn’t as good as with the more expensive Pi2AES hat. Another interesting thing is that this is ONLY through Qobuz Connect. If I access Qobuz through the Volumio interface, I can play and pause normally. However, the user experiance isn’t nearly as good as just using the Qobuz app.
I’ve emailed Qobuz support about this and am waiting to hear back (they first told me to “reinstall the app” and it’s like from where? This is happening both on my Mac and on iOS and when trying to pause directly in Volumio while using Qobuz Connect). I have tried rebooting the Pi, rebooting my computer, and reinstalling Volumio on the SD card. The driver in the Volumio interface is pointed to the “Digi Pro” driver which is what Pi2Design recommends for the Pi2AES (by coincidence this is the same driver as for my other hat).
Anyone have any thoughts?
