AirPlay not functioning

Hello,
Probably someone can help me.

I have Volumio running in a PI5 with an HiFiBerry DAC2 ADC Pro.
The sound outup is selected to HiFiBerry DAC plus ADC Pro (Pi5)… hardware mixer and digital.

The web radios are working fine the Music in my NAS over ethernet is as well working fine… but when streaming over AirPlay to Volumio … I can connect to Volumio, all infos are shared and displayed in Volumio GUI, the volume slider is modifing the value for the sound…
…but no sound at the outup!

I have tryed already several others configurations like mixer software, none and so on, but without success.

Do someone have this configuration running and kind to share the solution.

Try to increase the volume to max on your phone.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work even with phone’s volume at max.
I have disabled all plugins, rebooted the system trying in any way and nothing.

The Pi5 is connected to a screen with built in speakers,
…so, I selected HDMI0 to check if the issues is related to the DAC, but even like this, the web radio and NAS music works, but not the airplay… in fact even peppy meter appears the needles don’t move and no sound.

Airplay is for me one of the features to jump to premium subscription, but unfortunately not like this.

I can try any other way, to bring that to work, but from my side I’m out of options .

Maybe you can give a try with volumio RC 4.0x.
And for info, AirPlay is not a part of the premium subscription. It is on the free version top.

Sorry, I’m a bit lost… what you mean with:
volumio RC 4.0x.

…for the subscription, I know is part of the free version, but if doesn’t work why go further (just my opinion)
