Have noticed the following behavior: If my router goes down, volumio does not reconnect again when it’s up again. Works fine for wired connections but not wifi.
You have to reboot to get “on-line”.

Do you mean you can’t install or you can install but don’t solve your problem ?
It looks like it installs but no folder structure is created under /data/plugins/
